Team India is set to clash with New Zealand in the five-match T20I series. The first clash is scheduled to be played on October 22 at the Hagley Park South in the central city of Christchurch.
New Zealand's all-rounder Daryl Mitchell has been a consistent performer against Team India. The right-handed batsman will be looking to deliver big knocks against the "Men in Blue" in the upcoming series. So far in 105 T20Is, he has scored 1879 runs, with a top score of an unbeaten 72 runs. Mitchell also has eight half-centuries in the format.
Team India's veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be one of the top players to watch out for. The pacer has made a return to the Indian mix after nearly four years. Although he was included in the playing XI for the fifth T20I match against the West Indies, he didn't take the field as the rain abandoned the game.
Team India's skipper Shreyas Iyer has had a mixed bag of results with the willow ever since he took on the leadership duties. Team India's think tank will expect him to lead from the front and deliver big knocks against the "Black Caps".
The cricket fans will be excited to see New Zealand's star all-rounder Glenn Phillips. The right-handed batsman is known for scoring crucial runs and entertaining the crowd with his extraordinary fielding skills.
