Surat extortion gang arrested using fake government vehicle. A gang allegedly posing as officials from the Gandhinagar police and cybercrime department has been accused of intimidating traders and industrialists to extort money in Surat’s Sarthana area. In one such incident, the gang stormed into an office at Mahavir Chowk, abducted a web developer and his business partners, and took them away in an Innova carrying a government board.
