Preparations are underway for the immersion procession of Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja, with the mandal gradually closing its darshan queues ahead of the grand visarjan on Friday, September 25, 2026. The queue for Charansparsh Darshan, which allows devotees to touch the idol’s feet, closed at 6 am on Thursday, September 24.
The queue for Mukh Darshan, which allows devotees to view the idol, will remain open until 11:59 pm on Thursday. The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal said the phased closures are necessary to facilitate preparations for the immersion procession. With the Charansparsh queue already closed as of Thursday morning, devotees who still want to visit the pandal in person have time to avail themselves of Mukh Darshan until 11:59 pm.
Online Darshan Available For Devotees: For those unable to visit Lalbaugcha Raja in person, online darshan will continue to be available until the immersion procession. The mandal said devotees can watch the live broadcast through its official YouTube, Facebook and Instagram platforms, website, X account and Android and iOS mobile applications.
