The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will demolish and rebuild the Mogra Nala bridge in Oshiwara, prompting the Mumbai Police to announce traffic restrictions and diversions.
According to an official traffic notification, the Mogra Nala bridge on Pramod Navalkar Marg in Mumbai's Oshiwara, connecting SAB TV Road to Link Road, will remain closed to vehicular traffic in both directions until May 31, 2027, to facilitate its demolition and reconstruction.
Mumbai Traffic Police on Monday issued a temporary notification, stating that the bridge had become dilapidated and would be demolished and rebuilt at the same location by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's K/East Ward.
The closure falls under the jurisdiction of the Oshiwara Traffic Division and will come into effect from the date of issuance of the notification.
