Marriott International has opened The Ballard, Mumbai, a Tribute Portfolio hotel in South Mumbai’s Ballard Estate neighbourhood. The 47-room property blends the area’s architectural heritage with a contemporary hotel setting and marks the Tribute Portfolio brand’s debut in Mumbai.
Part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of hotel brands, Tribute Portfolio features independent hotels with individual identities and connections to their locations. The Ballard takes design cues from the Neoclassical and Edwardian architecture of Ballard Estate, with Art Deco elements incorporated into its interiors.
Located opposite Mumbai’s General Post Office, the hotel provides access to the Fort precinct, Mumbai Port, Flora Fountain, Horniman Circle and the Asiatic Society Library. Several heritage sites, cultural attractions and commercial areas are also within easy reach.
