The action was taken on the basis of the preliminary report and investigation of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
It has been revealed that the main mastermind of this entire ragging gang is senior female Dr. Dikshita Ghevriya, who, along with other seniors, continuously inflicted mental harassment on 10 first-year resident doctors. Dr. Dikshita is accused of having the most toxic mentality.
Just two days before the suicide incident, junior doctors had complained to the Head of Department (HOD) Dr. Sumaiya Mulla about this mental harassment, yet no immediate action was taken.
On Monday (10 Aug), all the juniors were going to gather and complain to the Dean, but before that, on Sunday, Dr. Harsh took the extreme step.
On the other hand, even 24 hours after the incident, the administration is turning a blind eye to providing CCTV footage to the police.
