Utran Railway Station Upgrade Work to Disrupt Train Services in Gujarat Till October 13, Check Details

image: wikipedia (Utran railway station) Train services on the Surat-Vadodara section will face disruptions till October 13 as railway authorities carry out yard remodelling and Electronic Interlocking (EI) work at Utran station to develop it as a satellite station.

The work will require phased traffic blocks, during which several trains will be regulated or delayed by between 10 minutes and two-and-a-half hours. Train number 69198 Bharuch-Surat MEMU will remain cancelled on October 8, 9 and 13.

A traffic regulation will be imposed at Utran from 11.50 am to 1.50 pm on October 8. Besides the cancellation of the Bharuch-Surat MEMU, six trains will be affected.

Train 22717 Rajkot-Secunderabad Express will be delayed by 50 minutes, while 12656 Chennai Central-Ahmedabad will be regulated by 40 minutes.

Traffic regulation at Utran will continue from 11.50 am to 1.50 pm on October 9. The 69198 Bharuch-Surat MEMU will again remain cancelled.
