Two more die in spurious liquor tragedy: Death toll reaches 13, Mahisagar man among victims who died at Bha

35-year-old Mukesh Damor, originally from Bugda village in Santrampur taluka, had been working as a machine operator at Hitachi company in Bhavnagar for the last several years.

His family includes a 6-month-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. Before 18 August, Mukesh Damor had consumed liquor with his friend. Afterward, as his health deteriorated, he was shifted to a private hospital.

The deceased's uncle, Lakshmanbhai Damor, says, ''I received news of my nephew's deteriorating health on 18 August. His friends made a video call and showed that Mukesh is in the hospital and has been put on oxygen. As soon as we got this news, we people rushed from Mahisagar to Bhavnagar in a private vehicle."

However, Mukesh's condition was critical, so he was transferred and taken to another hospital. He remained admitted in the hospital there for two days. When the situation did not improve there either, he was shifted to Sir T Hospital.
