According to city-based medical experts, symptoms associated with H1N1 (swine flu), H3N2 (seasonal flu) and H5N1 (bird flu) are being observed in five out of every 10 flu patients.
The doctors shared their observations during a talk show organised by Divya Bhaskar on common and serious illnesses affecting people in the city.
Dengue can become serious when platelet counts fall. However, some people are relying on fruit juices and home remedies instead of getting laboratory tests and appropriate medical care.
