Surat–Udaipur Vande Bharat Gets Railway Board Approval, Eight-Coach Train To Cover 690 Km In Seven And A Half Hours

<p>Gujarat's textile hub Surat <a href="https://hellorail.in/surat-udaipur-city-vande-bharat-express-6c69b00dcc4f/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">secured</a> its first-ever Vande Bharat Express service with the Railway Board's approval of a new semi-high-speed connection to Udaipur City in Rajasthan.

</p><p>The <a href="https://www.businesstoday.in/india/story/flying-to-udaipur-now-reach-in-7-5-hours-on-new-surat-vande-bharat-train-check-timings-stops-and-route-553038-2026-09-03" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">approved</a> service, numbered 26903/26904, will cover approximately 690 kilometres in seven hours and 30 minutes, operating six days weekly except Tuesdays.

10am, reaching Udaipur City at 1.40pm, while the return service will leave Udaipur at 3.35pm, arriving in Surat at 11.00pm. </p><p>The eight-coach train will make nine commercial stops including Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarva, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur and Zawar, connecting multiple towns across both states.
