Dressed in traditional attire, the mothers enthusiastically danced the garba while carrying their babies strapped to their chests in baby carriers, with the unique initiative becoming a centre of attraction in Surat.
Dr Khushali of Nupur Hospital said the hospital has been organising this type of celebration for pregnant women and new mothers for the past five to seven years. Playing garba on a large ground can be risky for pregnant women.
