Surat Liquor Crackdown: six traders held from Rajhans Belliza

SURAT : A second liquor party in just two days has put Surat’s high-profile social circles under the police scanner, with six businessmen allegedly caught consuming foreign liquor without permission...
The raid was conducted on August 16 at Flat No. 1317 in Tower-B of Rajhans Belliza, located in the Silent Zone area. Police allegedly found six men consuming liquor at the flat and arrested all of them under the Gujarat Prohibition Act.
All six accused are below 35 years of age and are residents of prominent areas of Surat.
“This was an unauthorised liquor gathering, and action has been taken against all six persons found at the premises,” police said.
During the operation, officers seized 14 bottles of foreign liquor valued at ₹1,07,180. Police also confiscated eight mobile phones estimated at ₹4 lakh and a car valued at ₹5 lakh. The total value of the seized items was put at ₹10,07,180.
