Rat seen eating puff at railway stall goes viral: Surat station stall sealed; process to permanently cancel

A video has gone viral showing a rat freely enjoying a puff patties kept in a glass showcase at a tea stall named 'M/s Dinesh Associates' at the railway station. As live evidence emerged of the extent to which stall owners, who charge passengers more than the MRP, are playing with people's health, there was a major stir within the railway administration, and the process to permanently cancel the stall's contract has been initiated.

It is clear that this sensational video, which has gone viral on social media, was recorded between 3:15 AM and 3:42 AM on Saturday. When an alert passenger captured this filth on their mobile phone, the official announcements for the arrival of Train No. 11050 (Kolkata-Ahmedabad) and Train No. 12927 (Dadar-Ekta Nagar) can be heard in the background at the platform. Both these trains stop at Surat station between 3:29 AM and 3:41 AM early in the morning.

Surprisingly, just a few days ago, the railway administration had made tall claims about conducting a special cleanliness drive and performing 'deep cleaning' and 'sanitization' at all food stalls at Surat and Udhna stations.
