R&B Denims Invests Rs 25 Cr in Polyester Yarn Production in Surat

R&B Denims Limited, a vertically integrated denim manufacturer based in Surat, Gujarat, has announced that its subsidiary, Ricon Industries, has commenced commercial manufacturing of polyester yarn at its facility in Surat, Gujarat.

The company has invested Rs 25 crore in the initial phase of the project. The investment covers modifications to the facility, machinery, manpower and infrastructure required for polyester yarn production.

According to the company the new capacity will provide greater raw material security and help optimise costs for its blended textile operations. Polyester yarn is used in blended fabrics, including cotton-polyester-spandex combinations used in stretch denim.

Ricon Industries previously manufactured pure cotton yarn and has now expanded its production capabilities to include specialised polyester yarn. The move is aimed at strengthening R&B Denims’ integrated textile operations and supporting its blended fabric business.

R&B Denims reported consolidated net operating revenue of Rs 465.9 crore and consolidated profit after tax of Rs 24.8 crore for FY26.
