Residents of 15 societies in Dindoli and Godadara allege that their areas have not been surveyed, leaving affected families without financial assistance.
Women from the societies staged a protest at the Collector’s office, saying some families were forced to remain in polluted creek water for up to three days.
The protesting women alleged that no government officer or survey team had visited their societies to assess the damage.
“We have been visiting government offices for several days, but officials keep sending us from one table to another. No one has come to conduct a survey,” they said.
They demanded an immediate survey of all affected societies and payment of cash assistance to eligible families.
