A contract killing worth ₹1 lakh was arranged from Johannesburg, South Africa, to eliminate the deceased, Sajid Pirmahammad Qureshi. Driven by a desire to have the deceaseds wife, Abdulrahman Sheikh assigned the responsibility of the murder to Soyeb Ghan chi, who lived as a tenant in his house.
