Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train: The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project is moving closer to its planned launch in August 2027, with construction work progressing across key sections of the 508-km high-speed rail corridor. Fresh updates show significant progress at the Surat station in Gujarat, while foundation work is underway at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) station in Mumbai.

According to the latest project update, the main structural work at the Surat station has been completed, while interior and finishing work is now underway. The station is among the major stations being developed along the corridor. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor will have 12 stations in total, connecting several important cities and industrial centres along the route.

BKC station construction progresses At Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex, construction work on the underground bullet train station is progressing. The BKC station forms an important part of the Mumbai section of the project, which includes major underground construction.
