Max to set up 800-bed multi-specialty hospital in Gujarat

New Delhi: Max Healthcare is set to enter Gujarat with a 800 bed multi-speciality hospital, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said in a post on social media platform X.The announcement was made following Patel’s meeting with Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director of Max Healthcare in Delhi.

Patel added that the healthcare major is also planning future expansion across Gandhinagar and Surat.

“Discussed Max Healthcare’s plans to enter Gujarat's healthcare sector starting with a modern 800-bed multi-specialty hospital, alongside future expansion across Gandhinagar and Surat. They appreciated Gujarat’s progressive urban planning and favorable FSI policies that encourage large-scale healthcare infrastructure.

“Gujarat remains committed to building world-class medical facilities and strengthening our healthcare ecosystem to provide top-tier care for all,” Patel said.

The healthcare major currently operates 21 healthcare facilities with over 6100 across the NCR Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Odisha, with plans to reach a total of 10,000 beds over the next three to four years.
