The Urban Development and Urban Housing Department issued the order on August 24, bringing changes across several municipalities as well as at Regional Commissioner-level posts in the Surat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Rajkot zones.

The government has changed the Regional Commissioner-level responsibilities across four municipal zones. Keshav Koldiya has been transferred from Anklav and appointed Regional Commissioner of the Surat Zone.

Nitin Bodat has been moved from Kalol to the Ahmedabad Zone, while Satish Patel has been transferred from Mansa and appointed Regional Commissioner of the Gandhinagar Zone.

Class-II officer Vaibhav Vyas has been given the additional charge of Chief Officer of Mandvi-Baroi Municipality. He will continue to perform his existing responsibilities alongside the new assignment.

The department has directed that all transfers and appointments take effect immediately. The reshuffle is expected to bring changes in the administrative teams at the Chief Officer level across several municipalities.
