High-profile liquor party busted at farmhouse in Surat’s Dumas area

A high-profile liquor party being held at a farmhouse in Surat’s Dumas area was busted by police late on August 14. The raid was conducted while a birthday celebration was underway at the farmhouse.

During the operation, police detained more than 20 people, including eight women, who were allegedly found consuming liquor and beer at the party.

All those detained were taken to Surat’s New Civil Hospital for medical examination following the raid.

Dumas police seized liquor, beer and other items with a total estimated value of more than ₹35 lakh during the operation. Further investigation into the party and those involved is underway.
