Ganeshotsav procession sparks clash over DJ: Unidentified men attack two youths with sticks, saying the ral

Deepakbhai, the injured youth's maternal uncle, said about the incident, "My nephew was driving the DJ vehicle when the men stopped him over passing through the lane. During this, my nephew said, 'Brother, why can't we take it through? It is a Ganesh procession; we can take it through anywhere.'" On hearing this, four to five agitated men suddenly attacked him together and began assaulting him.

As the quarrel escalated, the attackers assaulted them with sharp weapons. Two youths, Vineet and Kartik, who worked as DJ operators, were repeatedly stabbed. Vineet suffered deep injuries to his back and head, while Kartik sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the chest. Both youths, covered in blood, were immediately taken to hospital for treatment.

After the incident, the victims' family expressed anger and said they had no prior dispute with anyone and that the youths had been subjected to a life-threatening attack without any reason. They said the strictest possible action should be taken against all those responsible for the crime and that they should be punished.
