Fire breaks out in meter room at Vesu’s Capital Green: Residents rush downstairs in panic as fire team brin

Chaos late at night as residents rushed downstairs At around 12:45 am on 15 September, a fire suddenly erupted in the meter room on the ground floor of Capital Green Society's E/2 tower after sparks began showering. Residents who were fast asleep rushed downstairs from their flats to save their lives after hearing loud bangs and seeing thick smoke.

Fire brigade team brought the blaze under control after spraying water for an hour As soon as they were informed of the incident, teams from Vesu Fire Station and Bhimrad Fire Station reached the scene within minutes. Sub-Fire Officer Kishor Patel and his team continuously sprayed water for 45 minutes and brought the fire completely under control at around 1:38 a.m. The firefighters' swift action prevented the blaze from spreading further and a major disaster was averted.

In the incident, the meter boxes of Tower 7 at Capital Green Society were completely destroyed by fire. Fortunately, timely action meant that there were no fatalities or injuries, bringing relief to local residents and the administration.
