About eight years ago, Harshad Pancholi brought home a 20-day-old puppy and named him Kabir. He was raised like a family member and a son. The Pancholi family used to take Kabir with them whenever they went out, which led to a deep bond being formed with him.
Kabir's passing has left the Pancholi family and animal welfare enthusiasts in a state of mourning. On Monday morning, Kabir was taken from his residence in Patan to the banks of the Saraswati River on Sujanipur Jail Road for his final rites. Everyone who joined the funeral procession, which was carried out with music and fanfare, had teary eyes.
A large number of people attended this funeral procession and paid their tributes with teary eyes. Everyone praised the noble spirit of compassion shown by Harshad Pancholi and his family in raising and nurturing a dog like their own son.
