Dietician strangles wife to death: Seals body in cement-filled wooden box, pretends to search her with fath

It was pitch dark. The entire city of Surat was asleep, and silence had settled over the narrow lanes of the Salabatpura area. Suddenly, at around 9 pm, four police vehicles arrived one after another, their sirens blaring, and stopped at Kagji ni Chal.

The road ahead was too narrow for the vehicles to pass, so the police had no option but to continue on foot. The team included the PI of Godadra Police Station, two PSIs and 8-10 armed personnel.

An uneasy silence prevailed as the officers stepped out with torches. Their beams pierced the darkness. An elderly man, Pradipbhai, accompanied them. Fear and anxiety were clearly visible on his face.

The police team led Pradipbhai through the tin-roofed and makeshift houses of Kagji ni Chal before stopping outside an old house. A large wooden door stood on the first floor, with a rusty lock hanging from it.

The constable took out his hammer. After two or three blows, the lock broke and fell to the ground. As soon as the door was pushed open, an intense and unbearable stench emerged from inside. Everyone at the scene covered their noses with handkerchiefs.
