BJP leader’s daughter-in-law dies by suicide: Hides note in undergarments; says, 'Can’t tolerate husband’s

Before her death, Nidhi wrote a one-and-a-half-page suicide note and reportedly concealed it in her underwear, fearing that her in-laws might destroy it.

In the suicide note, written in Hindi and English, Nidhi expressed her love for her husband, Saurabh, while describing the emotional pain caused by his alleged relationship with another woman.

She wrote that she loved Saurabh deeply and could not imagine living without him, but could no longer bear his alleged affair. The note reportedly details the mental distress she experienced over the relationship and the circumstances that led to her taking the extreme step.

Nidhi was reportedly aware of her mother-in-law’s political influence and strong connections within the BJP. Fearing that the suicide note could be destroyed if it reached her in-laws, she took precautions to preserve what she had written.

According to the available details, Nidhi concealed the one-and-a-half-page note in her sari and underwear before taking the extreme step. The note recorded the reasons behind her death and details of the circumstances she was facing, which she wanted to ensure remained available for investigation.
