His anger resulted in fabric worth an estimated ₹24 crore being reduced to ashes. The fire brigade took around 38 hours to bring the blaze under control.

CCTV footage of the incident has emerged, showing the accused reaching the market’s sixth floor with a white handkerchief covering his face and a bag slung over his shoulder.
