5 family members suffer food poisoning in Surat, 5-year-old dies: Fell ill after eating food from Sheetal R

The family of Ashokbhai Kalsariya, residents of Ranaujadham Society in Varachha, had ordered cashew and paneer Punjabi curry from Sheetal Restaurant on the night of August 15.

After consuming the food, the health of family members began deteriorating one after another. They were subsequently admitted to Sad Vichar Hospital for treatment.

Five-year-old Arya died during treatment on the night of August 17. The incident has left the family devastated and raised concerns over the safety of food supplied by the restaurant.

Arya’s parents and her two sisters are currently undergoing treatment at Sad Vichar Hospital. Their condition is reported to be serious.

Further investigation is expected to establish the exact cause of the food poisoning and whether the restaurant food was responsible for the family’s illness.
