According to the family, the boy and his sibling were involved in a routine quarrel, following which their mother reprimanded both children.

The boy’s relative, Rakeshbhai, said the quarrel between the siblings was a routine matter and that the mother had only reprimanded them. He said she had left the house for a short while to collect her Aadhaar and PAN card documents and found her son in distress when she returned.

Rakeshbhai appealed to parents to keep a close watch on their children’s phone use and ensure they do not become excessively dependent on mobile devices.
