SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women’s soccer team (9-3-3, 3-1-2 Pac-12) will play its final home match of 2026 on Friday night against Gonzaga (8-7-2, 3-3-0 Pac-12) at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast on the Pac-12 YouTube page, and the team will honor seniors Eva Wees, Rory Schank, Karoline Lundstrom and Katie Senn prior to the match.
San Diego State played at Washington State last Thursday afternoon, finishing in a 1-1 draw. Each team was shut out in the first half but scored on a second half penalty kick. Lexi Lee scored for the Cougars in the 56th minute after a handball in the box by the Aztecs.
Victoria Miller responded in the 84th minute after Charlie Gerson was fouled in the box. Miller’s goal was her eighth of the season, the most on the SDSU roster. In Sunday’s win over Fresno State, freshman KK Chowana-Bandhu doubled her career total with three goals, the second consecutive home match for SDSU with a hat trick and the first by an Aztec freshman since 2000.
Naima Castro also scored her fourth goal of the season in the 4-1 victory for San Diego State.
