The San Diego Regional Energy Network (SDREN) offers 10 energy efficiency programs designed to make clean energy upgrades easier, more accessible, and more impactful. SDREN is a partnership between San Diego Community Power (SDCP) and the County of San Diego (County), directly advancing County goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as outlined in the Climate Action Plan (CAP) , the Zero Carbon Portfolio Plan , and the Regional Decarbonization Framework . These efforts include supporting clean energy adoption and efficiency programs, expanding electric vehicle infrastructure, and prioritizing investment in underserved and hard-to-reach communities.
Some program examples are the Home Energy Savings program and the Multifamily Energy Upgrade program, which help qualifying property owners, homeowners, and renters save energy and reduce costs through education, support, and home energy upgrades.
SDREN also offers Spark Your Education and Spark Your Career , two workforce development programs that provide clean energy career pathways for high school students and job seekers.
