The San Diego Gulls and Henderson Silver Knights will meet up for their second consecutive contest as they complete their back-to-back series at Lee’s Family Forum tonight (6 p.m. PST; TV: AHLTV on FloHockey; Radio: Gulls Audio Network).
San Diego and Henderson will wrap up the first half of their season series tonight in game two of their back-to-back and game four of their season series. The teams will meet again in just under a month on Tuesday, Dec. 1 back at Lee’s Family Forum. The Silver Knights currently lead the series going 2-1-0-0 over the Gulls.
The teams battled it out last night with Henderson pulling off a 1-0 shutout win over San Diego. Despite the loss, the Gulls outshot the Silver Knights 31-18 and held the team to just eight shots in the final 40 minutes of the game. The effort was there from the Gulls, but they could not find a way past the Silver Knights’ Carl Lindbom.
You just got to keep pushing," left wing Drew Elliott said. "Eventually, if you get pucks to the net, it's going to go in. Unfortunately, he [Carl Lindbom] had a good game, but we got to stay at it and bounce back tomorrow and get that win."
