The restaurant is making its South Mumbai debut, bringing its Tamilian fare with a preview dinner, featuring new creations like Birria Tacos and Beetroot Urundai.
After catering to the suburban Bandra and Versova outlets, Mumbai’s favourite Tamilian comfort-food fix – The Tanjore Tiffin Room – gets a new address. This time it's South Mumbai. The restaurant is bringing its home-style Tamilian cooking to Nerul Silk Mills in Lower Parel.
The restaurant announced its new opening on its official Instagram page along with Swiggy Scenes and Mumbai Foodie, mentioning a preview dinner scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026. This will allow diners an early look at The Tanjore Tiffin Room’s Lower Parel outlet menu before it officially opens. This preview is an opportunity to try new Tamilian creations alongside some familiar TTR specialities. If you have been waiting for the brand to travel south, consider this your dinner bell.
The new outlet’s official opening date, operating hours and other details have not yet been announced. So, if you’re keen to be among the first to sample the new menu, keep an eye on the restaurant’s social media or check out Swiggy Scenes for further details.
