Mumbai traffic updates issued by the city traffic police will affect commuters in Andheri East, Marol and Oshiwara, with two road closures linked to infrastructure works remaining in force until May 31, 2027. The Seven Hills Junction–Lok Bharati Junction road will close from November 6, while the Mogra Nala bridge in Oshiwara has also been shut for demolition and reconstruction.
According to a notification issued by the MIDC Traffic Division, the road from Seven Hills Junction towards Lok Bharati Junction will be closed to all vehicles to allow road concreting and stormwater drain construction. The closure will affect traffic moving between Marol-Maroshi Road, Seven Hills Hospital, Lok Bharati Junction and surrounding areas.
The restriction has been imposed under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The notification was issued by Pradeep Chavan, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Eastern Suburbs Traffic. It will take effect on November 6, 2026, and remain in force until May 31, 2027.
Traffic police have prescribed an alternate route for vehicles approaching from Seven Hills Junction. Motorists will be diverted through Military Road, Tanvi Super Market Junction and Marol Bhavan before continuing towards their destinations. Commuters have been advised to follow traffic police instructions and diversion signs while travelling through the area.
