Mumbais Central Railway suburban services faced major disruptions on Monday morning due to two separate incidents.
A fire in a relay room at Kanjurmarg caused a significant signalling failure, affecting train operations between Vikhroli and Bhandup.
Concurrently, a foreign wire hanging from the overhead equipment between Mulund and Thane led to an OHE block and service restoration after about an hour.
