Mumbai City will take on SC Delhi in their first home fixture of the MG Indian Super League 2026-27 season at the Mumbai Football Arena on 1st November, as the Islanders look to secure their first win of the campaign in front of their home supporters.
Having drawn their last two matches against Punjab FC and Kerala Blasters FC, the Islanders return to Mumbai for their fourth game of the season. Head Coach Manolo Márquez spoke about the importance of the occasion and the progress so far.
It is always important to win, whether it is the first game of the season or, in this case, our first home game. We are playing better with every game, and I feel we deserve more points than we have. In Kerala, the team performed well in a great home atmosphere, and I think we had the clearest chances. We prefer to play at home in front of our supporters, and tomorrow, we will go for the three points,” he said.
Defender Lazar Cirkovic echoed the Head Coach’s sentiments, highlighting the positive mood in the camp and urging the fans to turn out in numbers.
