Mumbai City will travel to Kochi to take on Kerala Blasters FC in their third fixture of the MG Indian Super League 2026-27 season at the JLN Stadium on 25 October, after a 1-1 draw away to Punjab FC.
The Islanders showed resilience in Delhi, and Head Coach Manolo Márquez took the positives from the defensive display away from home against Punjab FC.
In terms of defence, we played a good game against Punjab the other day. We conceded very late, and we were playing with 10 players. Punjab are a very good team, and they pushed hard to find the equaliser. As for the next game, everyone knows that playing in Kerala is a special experience. It is Kerala Blasters’ first home game, so we know it will be tough, but I think it will be just as difficult for them,” he said.
Forward Farukh Choudhary, who has previously been a part of Kerala Blasters and has played in Kochi against them over the years as well, spoke about the atmosphere that awaits the team.
