Following its launch at an introductory price tag of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, the Hyundai Bayon comes as an entry-level model in the midsize SUV category. Positioned directly between the sub-4m Venue and the midsize Creta, the Bayon gets a 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (iVT).
The final on-road price of the Bayon varies significantly across major Indian cities due to state-level Road Transport Office (RTO) tax slabs, road safety cesses, regional vehicle insurance premiums and others. Here is an estimated on-road price breakdown for the Hyundai Bayon across five major metro hub cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune.
The Bayon manual version is available at a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh, which extends up to Rs 16.80 lakh for the top-spec HX 10 Dual-Tone variant. On the flip side, the automatic range starts at Rs 13.85 lakh for the HX5 iVT and extends up to Rs 18.15 lakh for the top-spec HX10 iVT Dual-Tone.
Note: On-road prices include Base Ex-Showroom + RTO/Road Tax + Comprehensive 1-Year Insurance + 3-Year Third-Party Cover + Fastag/Standard Mandatory Dealer Charges. Dealer accessories, extended warranty, and MCD entry fees are extra.
Lowest On-Road Cost: Delhi offers the lowest entry point due to state tax brackets under 10% for petrol models.
