Four students from a Delhi government school have represented India at an international gaming showcase in Seoul, South Korea, where they presented a 3D horror game developed using the Unity platform. The team, named Immortals—comprising of Dhruv, Krishna, Meghna and Amit—from Dr BR Ambedkar School of Specialised Excellence, a CM Shri school in Lajpat Nagar, showcased its game, Hollowmoor, at the BETTER GROUND Final event organised by KRAFTON and Junior Achievement (JA) Korea.
The showcase brought together 18 student teams from across Asia, including 12 from South Korea and one each from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The students presented their projects and exchanged feedback on game design and development with participants from other countries.
Team Immortals was selected to represent India after winning the national final of the BETTER GROUND High School programme, which introduces senior school students to careers in the gaming industry through game development and mentorship.
