19-Year-Old Poses As Patient To Harass Surat Physio Arrested From Navi Mumbai

Image : AI Generated Surat Cyber Crime Police have arrested a 19-year-old man from Navi Mumbai for allegedly posing as a patient to contact a woman physiotherapist in Surat and sending her obscene videos and photographs. The accused, identified as Tushar, allegedly threatened to make the material public after the physiotherapist refused to treat him.
According to the complaint, the woman received a call from an unknown number a few days before approaching the police. The caller introduced himself as a patient who had suffered an accident and claimed he needed online physiotherapy for a problem involving his private parts.
When the physiotherapist advised him to consult a male physiotherapist instead, the accused allegedly continued sending obscene material and harassing her. He also threatened to make the videos public, prompting her to approach the Surat Cyber Crime Branch.
Following the complaint, police launched a technical investigation to trace the accused. The probe led them to 19-year-old Tushar, a resident of Navi Mumbai.
A Surat Police team travelled to Navi Mumbai and arrested him from his home. Police said the accused lived alone and had studied up to Class 7.
